THE LAW OF GRATITUDE

1 Thessalonians 5:18 & Eph. 5:20:

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Giving thanks always for all things unto God... Eph. 5:20

The whold process of mental adjustment and atonement can be summed up in one word “ GRATITUDE"

1. You believe that there is One God from which all things consist…from which all things exist (Col. 1:16-17).

2. You believe that God gives you everything you desire (Ps. 84:11)

3. You relate yourself to God by a felling of deep and profound gratitude (1 John 4:20).

4. There is a Law of Gratitude

5. The Law of Gratitude is the principle that action and reaction are always equal and in opposite directions. (James 4:8)

6. If your gratitude is strong and constant, the reaction will be strong and continuous. (Jesus example)

7. You cannot exercise much power without gratitude; for it is gratitude that keeps you connected with Power.

8. The creative Power within us (God in me) makes us the image of that to which we give our attention.

9. The grateful mind is constantly fixed upon the best; therefore it tends to become the best; it takes the form or character of the best, and will receive the best.

10. Faith is born of gratitude.

  1. The grateful mind continually expects good things, and expectation becomes faith. My soutl wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. (Ps. 62:5
  2. The reaction of gratitude upon one's mind produces faith; and every wave of grateful thanksgiving increases faith.
