About Bishop Valentin

Bishop John Z. Valentin is a man who has been forged by the crucible fire of destiny with a vision that will make a people ready for the Lord.  Born in Port-au-Prince, Haïti with a prophetic destiny, Bishop John settled into his calling by the young age of 15 after the Lord appeared to him in an open vision.

Bishop Valentin is the founder and Senior Pastor of Vision Ministries.  Vision had its humble beginning in 1983 inside a house with 8 people in attendance.  The church impacted the city with open air crusades in all the urban area of the city (projects) with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Vision continued to develop its ministries under the leadership of Bishop Valentin in his hot pursuit for God.  This has brought him many testings and blessings.  Bishop’s ministry reflects biblical pattern that confront the lies in the body of Christ and lead into the truth.

Vision is prophetic, revelatory place.  In 1988, Bishop established a place of training where many pastors and evangelist received training under the name Vision Bible School, later known as “Supervision” and “now” under the name Vision School of Ministry (fully accredited).  The School is geared toward training others in ministry and for ministry.  Bishop Valentin is charged to raise up a company of 300 for the end-time purpose of God.  A charge given to him by God in 1989.  With a father’s heart he is forging the way for sons to follow.

Bishop Valentin is in great demand, for wherever he goes he leaves his mark and a deposit.  As a prophet, he can decree a thing and see it established by creating miracles and circumvent events and situations.  He possesses insights that are unique to motivate people beyond mediocrity into purpose, destiny and excellence.

Many of his adherents today attribute their success, prosperity, happiness directly to his teaching and life.  Bishop’s love, direction, transparent life, and his understanding of “be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind” have guided them as the stars from above.

Bishop Valentin earned a Bachelor Degree in Bible and Biblical Education and a Master of Divinity Degree in Theology and Counseling, and currently serves as a professor for a Bible College.

Pastor Nadia Valentin, his wife, stands with him in his World Wide ministry and serves as Chief Administrator.  They are proud parents of 3 children: Jo-Hannah, Joel, and Jahel Zion.
